Slept a little, got a few more things and mailed some. Took a cab to the trail head.
I have seen 7 hikers and one trail volunteer. On the Appalachian trail, you’re supposed to have a trail name. Because this is a new world and you get to re-invent yourself, I am now ‘Rodent,’ though no one has asked my name yet.
Stopping to camp - tired. This up and down is hard work.
