On Friday we went on our bus tour. 7:30 start - so early, and didnt get home until 8:30pm. Big Day! But a good one.

We first went to Windsor castle, which is where the Queen goes for weekends. Its pretty huge. We got to look through the state apartments where she entertains sometimes and keeps all her china.

From Windsor Castle we went to Stonehenge. Far out, it was freezing cold! Out in the middle of nowhere. It was quite nice, although really its just a few stones on top of each other. Big ones of course. You cant go up to it anymore, only walk around it which was a bit of a shame. But it was too cold to stay out too long anyway, we did a quick lap and went straight back to the warm coach! When we got back the guide and bus driver were talking about how mild it was. Mild my arse. It was freezing!

From there we went and had lunch at a really old pub, and then went to Bath. Baths really pretty, they had a market going and some buskers. We went into the Roman baths that is a bath house (a lot like an Onsen) built by the romans, and discovered again about 200 years ago. Pretty amazing stuff really.

Our guide was so cute - Clarissa, from Chiswick. She was SO english it almost wasnt funny. She sounded just like Bridget Jones.
