Had a pretty chilled out day, didn't get up till about 10. Went for a run for the first time in AGES. Home, showered, everyone went to Subway but I was very happy with my beans on toast!
We spent ages trying to sort out accommodation for Seattle - I was so glad we had left it to the last minute! Eventually found a Travelodge a couple of miles out of town, so that was sorted.
Don't pick up random objects in the sand

Joe and Jamie called round and started up the barbie. We all feasted on Salmon that had been caught by Joe's mate - yum yum! After that we headed out to play some rooftop volleyball at a bar it town. I had been dreading it, but it turned out to be absolutely ace, except for one minor incident. I was running back over the court when I noticed something in the sand in front of me. Needless to say I was absolutely delighted when, on picking it up to inspect it further, I discovered that it was a used verucca plaster. Note to self - curiosity killed the cat, and turned my stomach slightly.
By 11pm the game was over. Rick and Nicki were going out, and I was well on for it, but given my early start it was time for me to go home, pack and get to bed!
Bye bye Victoria!
