The place to be in Belize..

Ok so Ambergris Caye is the place to be in Belize..just another short water taxi ride from Caye Caulker, once you arrive you know it. There are seemingly hundreds of piers jutting out into the Caribbean, all offering diving and snorkelling tours. It is much more built up in comparison to Caye Caulker. There are still the golf carts zipping around on dirt/sand roads, but there are some cars. You encounter many more dining options, souvenir shops, and bars. It is a subdued liveliness, but good times.Every meal was enjoyably (jerk chicken and jamaican infused food at Jambels, and lobstertails at Fido's). We also ate at some local joints a little off the beaten path which were A)more economical B)tasty nonetheless..Here Beliken (the local beer) became our good friend as we drank a lot of them and puffed on cuban cigars..We hung out alot with some Canadian baclpackers and barhopped a little..Made friends with locals and really felt at home the entire time..
