Nate's hook-up turned out to be the path we were looking for. We stumbled into The Common Place mid afternoon, just in time for a quick shut eye and an amazing meal. The Common Place is a social center in Leeds that had opened it's floor space for people heading up to the Camp for Climate Action near Selby. Before arriving none of us had ever heard of Climate Camp or Bicycology. We learned here that Bicycology is a group of cyclists that make their way around the UK informing people of political issues dealing with transportation and global warming and holding free cycle-repair workshops, thus encouraging people to ride bicycles. We met a lot of amazing people and decided to take the opportunity to ride to the camp with the Bicycology group, gain some group biking experience and participate in the Climate Camp.

For me this was the jumping place for a slue of personal realizations and brewing ideals about the future, my future. The communal lifestyle is something that appeals very much to me. I'm inspired by the willingness of people to help eachother when given the opportunity and atmosphere to comfortably trade experience and knowledge. One aspect I particularly enjoy is that of communal cooking, homemade cooperative meals tend to hold more flavor and revitalizing qualities.
