Hey Everyone!!!

We hope that all is well!!!! So, we are finally in Greece! We had a crazy 15-hour bus ride from Tasucu (in the south of Turkey) to the crazy touristy port town of Marmaris (in western turkey). In Marmaris, we spent two days in a great hotel that overlooked the harbor but was over a bar that played great hits such as Britney Spears and the Backstreet Boys. The town was cool but a ton of tourists were there. Jer got a Turkish bath….basically it sounded like they make you sweat in order to soap you up and scrub you down and then finish off with a massage(don’t worry Eva, he said that yours was much better!). Then we were fortunate enough to learn that not all Turkish ferries to other countries are hellish like the one to Turkish Cypress…we got to Rhodes, Greece in no time flat and we headed south along the coast to Faliraki. This town is basically a bunch of Brits just partying. The beach is great and today for the first time since High School, we went to a Water Park. It was a ton of fun!! A nice variance from seeing the castles and ruins and going on hikes. I even was fortunate enough to sit very close to Jer’s feet, as we were both on the same raft. But get this, after the Turkish bath, his feet were fairley nice to hang out with…za and putter may find that one hard to believe but it is true!!! We went on just about all the slides and had a great time…it was like being a kid again! But then we had a 3 km walk back to our room….unlike the Raging Waters trips when we had Mom to pick us up. We are staying in a place close to all the action and the beach…it is nice but Jer had to kill a roach for us today….BUGS, they are going to drive me crazy by the end of the trip. Anyway, tomorrow is another Ferry. This time to Santorini island and it too is 15 hours….neat!!! We will be sure to update you soon!!
