A short hop back on to I70 East and then to Denver, CO. This is basically our last "fun place" for our honeymoon and it is spent with some of our favorite people, my brother Matt and future sister -in-law Leslie. It was great to not be driving all day and hang out in a very cool city that Melo also calls home. Matt even cleaned the house for us (this has not happened since my mom made the both of us clean our shared room back in 4th grade) regardless it was awesome of him to give us his room and treat us like the special family that we are!! We went out to eat at a very cool diner in downtown Denver before spending the evening at Dave and Busters (a restaurant with an arcade and beer). Those of you who don't know my brother...well he is 30 and still never far from a video game. We had a great time and Meg kicked some but in shuffle board. We ended he night by hanging out in Matt's livingroom while Meg gave Leslie the do's and don't of planning and executing a wedding. (their wedding is in Denver in February and we can't wait). And lets all be honest...Meg and freakin execute a wedding. Now that I am thinking about it we should of told Matt and Leslie that they could rent out Shonagh for a couple of days and then they would be positive they would have a perfect wedding. Finally, our other highlight of the stay was the four of us going out to brunch at a drag queen resturant titled "Bump and Grind". All of the servers are dressed in drag and they serve pretty amazing food. I wish I could say the same about their outfits. This place is pretty popular in Denver and there was a half hour wait. I already know what you are thinking, but yes even Meg was psyched to go. I hear it is even a favorite of my parents when they visit my bro. Denver was as good of time for us as the previous weeks. I love seeing my big brother out there doing so well and being so happy. From here, the honeymoon keeps on truckin east!! Oh yeah...Meg says hello. (DONT TELL HER WHAT I WRITE ON HERE)
