We flew from Holland at around 1015 hours (GMT+1) and were in Nairobi at 1930  hours. The airport was "OK". It was not really impressive ut I guess being a transit passanger it probably was not supposed to matter. To me, I did!

I did not really like the boarding information. We were not provided with direct assistance but had to find our own way out. What can improve there?

  • Information provided immediately when you get of the plane.
  • Restaurants can better provide information of their products and goods. Like I had a coffee latte and was unsure if it was going to be good for my belly. Anyways I do have some trouble but it was ok.
  • Water , please buy your sealed bottles.
  • Don't just drink anything unless its cooked and boiled. No harm in asking the restaurant on "how do you guys make this coffee?". They are happy to oblige.
  • Wireless access points should "actually work"! As you guessed they didn't. I chatted up with a travelling American lady and she was pulling off signals from a access point but could not get on the net!
What was good:
  • Shops and goodies
I did notice that a couple of my European mates out there were sitting on the ground and playing on their PSPs (Playstation portable). I guess these guys were nto interested in exploring. Or probably they have been doing this for ages and have done their homework already :-). Anyways I flew at 2200 hours to Entebbe, Uganda.
