So what has been happening in the land of Glasgow? Well last night was Guy Fawkes Night. For those that don’t know it is basically firecracker night and yes it is still legal over here to buy your firecrackers and light them yourself. I tell you it brought back a heap of childhood memories for me.

Last time we spoke the Swans had just won the Grand Final. I am still excited by it! My mum has sent me over a copy of the game and I have already watched it for a second time and I tell you it still feels fantastic. She also sent over two rather large tins of Milo, the one and only Aussie thing that I have been missing and that you can’t get anywhere in Glasgow. Thanks to my mum!

Since then not a lot has been happening. I am still at Falkirk College and I am rather busy (and for those that know, I am talking much busier than the old Tab Salary review time). The main reason is that I am dealing with a case of Fraud. Can’t really go into detail but it is a big one. I am also trying to fix up the myriad of payroll problems that the company has. So my time is spent taking calls from employees who haven’t been paid, and as well all know they need the money straight away.

Outside of work, Kevin and I are still going strong. It has been over two months now and it is fantastic. I think I have found someone quite special. I can’t wait to bring him home and introduce him to you guys. I am sure you will love him as much as me! Well maybe not quite as much. Not sure when that is going to be though!

What else has been happening? Not a lot. Just the usual day to day things. I am heading back to Dublin just before Christmas to spend some time with Nigel and Antoinette and to introduce Kevin to them. The first introduction! We are also hoping to go to Milan in January, dependant on how much it is all going to cost of course.

I am spending Christmas with Kevin. I am hoping that it will be with his sister and her family. It would be nice, but we are yet to confirm it. As long as I am with him I am sure I will have a great time.
