We've finally found the Mother Road - Route 66. More of the old road can be driven than we thought. Visit a couple of Route 66 museums and discover loads about the history of the road, then buy a map and head out with 'Get Your Kicks On Route 66' playing on the stereo. Also experience our first big thunder storm while on the road. Still no sign of a twister but the raging storm was enough to contend with. Is this the way to Amarillo?
