So I went to Brisbane to get a sticker for my passport to say that I'm legally in Australia and not a crazy terrorist posing as a student... I'm not sure why the sticker matters, but it seems to, so off to the DIAC in Brisbane I went. I took a bus to the Train station in Robina (about a 10 minute trip) and then bought a ticket for the hour and a half ride to Brisbane (only $5.30 one way). While I was waiting for the train I felt as though I was on a TTC Subway platform and then when the "train" arrived it was a subway, not a train at all.... except it didn't go underground. The seats were slightly more comfortable than a TTC Subway car, but not much. The scenery to Brisbane was very much like driving to Peterborough, lots of fields, cows, small suburbs and more fields. And then all of a sudden you're in Brisbane. After working the kinks out of my back from sitting for so long I made my way out into Brisbane and started taking pictures... and then the camera died... Thank goodness mom and dad are sending me that charger because i'm down to one set of batteries... which i didn't have on me. So since there are so few pictures this time around I endeavor to go again and take more pictures of more fun things... So until Brisbane Part II, you'll have to wait and just enjoy the random pictures of the subway car and things.

Just like the TTC, only more expensive
