departing dublin

As with everything, all good things must come to an end, and this fun weekend was no different :( one by one the people left. Marco first early in the morning, and in the rush to get downstairs for the send off, i put back on the clothes i had been in, and everyone thought i had worn my evening clothes in bed. silliness. then it was Al who was trying to waste time in town, though it started to piss it down soon after he left. though this was not before, we went for a walk to find me some postcards. though none could be found. even at the airport!! After Elaine kindly drove us straight to the airport, i said goodbye to Nia in the departure and walked to the ryanair gate, which in typical fashion was made of one freakishly long portacabin, as i washed the rain lashing down on the plastic windows, separating us from moving planes.  all the passengers got soaked moving between the terminal "building" and boarding. the rest of the journey went without incident except for the overloud teenagers near where i was sitting recounting their apparently mad weekend in Dublin. Let's be honest, it didnt beat ours. Cheers to Elaine, and bring on London/Windsor/Cambridge...!!!
