Cliff Diving and Naked People

The underground train out of Locarno ran under most of the city, it was very much like a subway for that leg. Outside of Locarno it returned to the surface and the brilliant sunlight.

We had all purchased half fare tickets for the trip because we have the half fare card, but I was dumb enough to leave my half fare card at the Hostel. When a guy came around looking for tickets I just played dumb and he got frustrated and left.

Arriving at Ponte Brolla I was surprised that the place had been recommended to us. There was absolutely nothing there, it was just a train station, a highway, and a few shops and houses. But the sun was bright the day was warm and we pressed on, in search of the cliffs off which we could dive.

Along the highway, we could hear the water from a stream or river rushing past below us. We soon found a little path that cut down into the valley with warning signs along it telling us about the dangers of rocks and water, we pressed on some more, still in search.

After a couple minutes of navigating a fairly steep path downwards we came to a clearing and what did we behold sun bathing on the rocks below us. Thats right, a naked woman lying in all her naked glory. I like this continent! Feeling a little bit over dressed and awkward we went around looking for cliffs off of which we could jump.

Alas after about ten minutes of exploring we found the perfect cliffs. Regretfully, we were now near the naked man section of the rocks. I don't like this continent as much. But the sun was nice, the water was really cold and gravity beckoned us to jump. So jump we did.

After we got our fill of jumping and sunbathing we headed home. Of course we made sure to go past the naked ladies again on our way out.

Back into the town and onto the train for Locarno.
