We stayed for one week during hurricane season so there were not many tourists there.  We had a great time just lying around in the sun (in the am by the afternoon it clouds over) The food was great, as were the restaurants.  One note, do not eat the apple pie in the "french" restaurant you will choke on it.  Other than that we had no complaints about the food. We went on two excursions, one was to see the town (another note: it is not a good tour to take because they try to make you feel sorry for them and give them money)  The second excursion we went on was to Ocho Rios to the Falls. Now that was worth every penny, we had a great time there and it really is a great photo opportunity.  Take advantage of this trip if you can.  There are many new resorts being built in Jamaica and I would definitely like to go back and stay in one of the five star resorts that are being made.
