On our last day, I finally started to get used to it and felt normal in the desert, even when a small dust storm started coming our way. We ventured out into the playa with our goggles and face masks and went way out. My friend Lora climbed one of the structures (see photo) and moments later I followed. This was pretty cool to say the least. After about an hour, we went back to camp to lounge all day until sunset. After packing and dinner, we headed out again into the playa to see if we could catch the Temple burning. We got a ride from a butterfly (art car that is) from a friendly fellow burner and were dropped off far away from camp. It was so peaceful compared to the night before, as some people had left a bit early. We headed back to camp before the temple burned to make sure we made the bus.

The ride home went by quick and soon we were back to San Francisco.
