So the Italians won the world cup and boy did they ever come out of the wood work to support their country here in Sydney. All morning after the win we would hear car horns honking non stop and people screaming, "Italia, Italia!" It was fantastic!!

We have been having a great time in this beautiful city-it's very similar in ways to Seattle, New York or any other big city but a few landmarks obviously stand out. The Opera House is very impressive, the Sydney Bridge is massive. Some people can take a walking tour up and over the top of the bridge as they are harnessed onto the cable but there is no way I was about to do that-Kadin would have though:) We are staying in a place called the Rocks which is the old town heart of Sydney and we definitely made a good decision to stay here. It has much more character than the newer, more modern parts.  Yesterday we went to the Sydney Aquarium and ran around the Palace Botanical gardens-veryyy pretty.

We saw this bloke who couldn't get a root in a brothel with a fist full of 50's!

Great food, yummy cheese and great wine-what else more do you need?? :)

Tomorrow morning we are leaving for the Gold Coast, Surfers Paradise and Byron Bay. We are really excited to move up north along the coast. Craziest thing by far that we have realized on this trip is that it is cheaper to fly places than it is to rent a car, take a bus or a train-how weird is that? So we are getting places quicker and having more time to explore a certain area-can't beat that!

Hope everyone is doing well and enjoying their summer-looks like Seattle is having nice weather......
