Have Passports, Will Travel

8.3.06  Our passports arrived today!  No turning back.  Only 21 days and counting.  Now that we are so close, it is harder to wait.

Scott and Mary just returned from Paris and Scott is going to sit down and share all the "secret" places they discovered.  They had to deal with the heat wave, but it looks like we will have nice weather in the 70s.  Magnifique!

...not like Tourons from Florida...

Still trying to get upgraded seats on LTU, but so far, no cancellations.  In economy class, they have what they call XL seats, or longer/wider seats.  I didn't know about them until recently, so of course, they are all taken.  But they told me to keep checking back and there is a 50/50 chance we can get them.

Next week we go shopping for Dave.  He is in desperate need of some new, classic clothes versus the tropical print and golf club shirts he currently lives in 24/7.  We are going to Paris after all...must at least make an effort to look somewhat stylish and not like "Tourons" from Florida ("Touron" is a term from Minnesota meaning a cross between a tourist and a moron).
