Olympic City

Jim's old buddy Stuart hosted us in beautiful Sydney. He acted as social coordinator, surf instructor, chauffer, and city reviewer. He even picked us up at our gate when we flew in. Super service!

The three of us trekked out to the Hunter Valley wine region for a taste of some of Australia's finest Semillons and Shirazs. (Our recommendation would be McWilliam's Mount Pleasant winery where all the samples were delicious!) Within the city limits, we explored downtown, Neutral Bay, several beaches, Paddington, and Chinatown. In the latter, we met up with Jim's former colleague, Todd, and his girlfriend who are travelling around Australia for awhile. Stuart and Jim went surfing a couple days and we spent and evening at the theater watching Mama Mia, a musical based on ABBA songs.

We have added Sydney to the short list of cities that we loved and would consider work in. Who will join us?
