We arrived in Prague on the best bus we have been on since Turkey. It was a 6 hour trip but it was a plesaure to be on. They provided as with free tea, coffee and hot chocolate and had movies running the entire trip in English. If we felt like a light bit of reading we could have got a magizine as well, it was lovely. however we arrived very late in the city and were unable to explore it. The next day we headed out to see what Prague had to offer. One of the main tourist sites is the Prague castle (a very expensive place to visit) was very interesting. we then wondered down to the old parts of Prague. Which were home to one of europes most attractive town squares.

That night we headed out what was going to be one of the best meals in Europe (according to Kath and Tony the pork nuckle in Prague is the best feast anyone could hope to have). So that night we ventured out to find a great meal. We stop at this place which seemed to promise so much. David had 3 coursed of pig based stuff (we dont really know what it was) and Meagan had some extremely pungent garlic soup amoungst some other not particularily nice food. The only thing the picked Davids spirits up was a piece of bread with 4 sausages in it from a street stall.

Prague was a city that we had high expectations of and felt that although it was beautiful, it wasnt that different from some other cities we had visited recently and were unsure why there is so much hype surrounding the place. Our accommodation was quite possible the best (and cheapest) place we have stayed this year though.
