Hi everybody!!

We have finally got down to Goa, it took us 14 hours on the train to get here, but we finally made it!!! But to add to our growing stories we almost didn't make the train at all. We stupidly told the taxi driver the wrong station, (but in our defence they were both called CST, but this meant different things!!!) We only realised our mistake when the taxi had left us and our train wasn't on the departure board. Luckily a taxi driver came to our aid as we were obviously looking a little bewildered to say the least. The guy overcharged us like anything, but we got there with about 20 minutes to spare.

Then to add insult to injury, or rather the other way round. While trying to find our coach, and india trains are like 40 carriages long, I (Jonny) slipped with all my bags on in what can only be described as poo!!! Well thats what it smelt like anyway. The only good thing was that Stacy and the girls we were travelling with did not witness this, just the poo stained skid mark up my leg and clothes. So i had the worst journey as i had to smell myself for 14 hours, at least the others could get away from me!!!

Anyway enough with poo, the hotel here is lovely, and goa is not like the north of india. It's alot more relaxed, but  we wouldn't go as far as to compare it to a european resort, there are still cows in the middle of the road and no pavements. But overall we're really happy to be here!!! Even the food is good, last night we ate at our hotel and had korma, which was just like it is at home. Which is a big improvement from the food we encountered in the north! Yesterday we walked along the beach which was really idylic, and there's even an old beached ship about 100m from the shore. We're finding it hard to relax after the last few hectic weeks, and feel like we should be doing something, but we are sure this won't last long. Anyway we are off to book our flights back to Mumbai we feel we have experienced enough Indian train journeys for one trip. We will probably update you just before we go to Singapore because we can tell you now the next week and a half will be etiher chilling on the beach or by the pool.

Hope you're all ok back at home and the weather isn't too miserable.

love you all loads Stacy & Jonny xxx
