Because there is not much happening in Sulina, we hurried back up the river to Tulcea via an express ferry. We then took a mini-bus to Constanta, an ancient city on the coast of the Black Sea. Constanta was founded in the 6th century BC by the Greeks, and is now Romania's largest sea port and commercial hub. We found that the center of Constanta is also the most expensive area we have visited with hotel rooms starting averaging $90 per night. After hours of looking for a better deal we settled on a $70 place. We ate some dinner at a restaurant located below a casino and settled in for the night.
