I liked Siena as a city better than Florence. It got culture, food, and just a much more fun and sunny atmosphere. Oh there are lot of tourists still, but they more like to have a coffee at a cafe, enjoy the sun in the scalloped shaped Il Campo plaza area, or wander a bit... as opposed to the death marching brigades of power-tourist determined to "Do Florence" and the illegal immigrant street hawkers of Florence.
