Our last morning in Milan we walked the roof of the Duomo. As impressive as it is from below, seing the spires, statues and gargoyles up close is even more so. We took the elevator to save time and steps and spent about 30 minutes exploring. This excursion was recommended to us by the Altamura's who had visited Milan just a few weeks before us and it is absolutely the one thing you should not miss if you are ever in Milan. We were able to see to the roof of a nearby building where models and photographers were doing a photo shoot!

Hello girls. Everything sounds so wonderful. The rooftops in Milan, the piazzas in Florence. I love the pictures. You are looking quite beautiful and very European! So now you are in Rome, one of my favorite places. Have fun and remeber to throw your pennies in the Trevi Fountain!!! Ciao!
