Two of my friends from home came to hang out down under for their spring break.  We were going to stay in Byron on the beach for a few nights but decided to go up the coast a couple hours to a city called Surfers Paradise instead.  We rented out an apartment for 3 nights, which actually ended up being cheaper than staying in a hostel, so that was sweet.  We filled most of our time with beaches, and a few bars.  They took off for home after a 10 day stay, and I took off that same day for another little trip of my own, check out the pictures of that in my next entry.
