Bangkok-Phuket

Decided it would eb a godo idea to spent the night at the airport seeing as our flight to Phuket was 1st thing in the morning.  Wasn't the most comfortabel of nights but leats we had  aroof over our heads!  Pretty impressed with Bangoko Airlines, lots fo free juice and cakes in the departure lounge.  Flight to huket only 80mins, like flyign down to London.  Phuket airport is 50mins form the town, got the bus there.  Stoated around the town in the boiling heat. Was absoutley drenched by the time we found a guest house, back was killing me too from my rucksack.  Got the local bus to Patong beach. Its about 50mins on the tuk tuk bus. It's the main beach in Phuket, probably know it from the Tsunami.  The is still alot of devastation but they are rebuliding it quickly and the promenade it just abotu all finished.  The beach was pretty nice, though the water not as clear as i had expected. We onyl stayed  afew hours as it was baking hot and we were like tomoatoes!

On day 2 after sleeping for 13hrs!!,we took the tuk tuk bus to another beach. It was 50mins again and was called Karron beach. it isn alot nicer than Patong beach. Lovely white sand and blue water. We lay tanning all day long, then we booked a trip for  Phangnga and James Bond island.  We went back to Phuket town and ate dinner wioth the locals sitting on wee plastic chairs, was funny.
