Our first stop was Killarney which was a very quaint little town that was beautifully green and very 'old town' with horse and carts everywhere. We visited Ross Castle and strode along the river where there were lines of fishing boats and canoes. We went out to a nice dinner and a few too many drinks, was not very well the following day! We did manage to go on a horse and cart ride down through the Killarney National Park and a visit to the Muckross Castle where Queen Victoria visited for her honeymoon. The sights were beautiful and we saw some awesome waterfalls and dense rainforest. Today was our last day in Killarney before moving on, unfortunately I had caught a nasty cold and wasn't feeling well for the rest of the night - typical to happen while on holidays!
