Well, this has SURELY been a crazy week.  I will have to make it short, as I am on my lunch break.  (yes, it starts at 10:40am, in case you caught that)  I am still frantically trying to get my paper done for my ACSI certification, which I believe I will be able to complete in time.  But I also got an extra treat in my lunch from the cafeteria and have FURTHER repairs for my car.

On Tuesday, I ordered a taco salad (my favorite) from the cafeteria, and got an extra dead fly for some extra crunch.  I lost my appetite, as I probably ate it's wings before I found it.  I got my money back, but now I am wary of the lunchroom meals!

Then, last night after I worked at Hallmark I went to Kroger (right next door) for groceries.  While I was in the popcorn aisle they paged me over the intercom:  "Would the owner of a white Ford Taurus, license plate %@$#*& please come to the service desk?"  I thought perhaps I had left my lights on......but no, someone hit my car and LEFT.  One of the Kroger employees saw it happen and got the license plate number of the car who hit me, so I was able to file a claim while in the parking lot with Meemic.  I need to call the Port Huron police department when I go home tonight so they can take a look at my car and I can file a police report.  The police department will then track down the owner of the car and get them in trouble.  Stupid conflict.  And then I can get my deductible waived when I get it repaired.  The damage is minimal, a cracked bumper and scratched paint.  But the hastle of the repair is more an issue than the cost.  Arg.  At least I still got my groceries.  (Do you realize that when my debit card was used by someone down in Georgia I was at Kroger when I found out?  Hmmmm......maybe I shouldn't shop there any more!)

But GOOD news would be that we have an apartment for Paris!  Woo hoo!  And it is beautiful.  Three bedrooms, two bathrooms!  Now we have airfare and a place to stay, the rest is just details!  Whew, what a relief!  I've attached pictures.

Okay, I really need to go get work done, lunch is pretty much over......I'll be back!
