Packing up, preparing to leave.

This is essentially my wardrobe for the next 6 months: a fleece, a jacket, 2 pairs of pants (one convertible to shorts), a few shirts, socks, and I still need to decide which undies I will be bringing.

Well I am about 5 weeks away from leaving on my trip and am just trying to get this website established so you'll be able to check in to see what I have been up to.

As of lately, I have just been getting the necessary clothes and supplies for this trip as well as working a ton to get the last of my finances in order. As some of you may know, I had been applying to medical schools this past fall so I have also been kept on my toes with school interviews and constantly checking the school websites to see if my application status has been changed. It's fairly stressful, but I'm hopeful that I will be accepted so I will have a school to go to once I get back from this trip. We shall see.

These are the other essentials for my trip. The backpack, daypack, shoes, toiletries, organizers, sleep sack, and backpack lock. I only need to get a few more things before I leave.
