In which we play once again with Gravity, not least the effect that several burgers have on our man boobs.

As soon as we got to Queenstown Jake turned gay and started wearing a dress?! Also we booked a ride on the 'shotover jetboat ride' which is described as 'The most exciting jet boat ride in the world'. Now... It was VERY fun, fast, wet and more than anything made us all want to drive a jet boat but as its the 'most exciting' I have to assume that generally jet boats are not intended as thrill rides?! However, it was cool, we got very close to the canyon sides and the canyon itself was very attractive with VERY blue water.

When we got back the others wandered into town and I booked to do the canyon swing that night. I made the booking at 3pm and the jump was for 5.30pm so what ensued then was 2 and a half hours of me looking very pale and being very quiet as I am happy to admit I was insanely scared.

EXTREME FREEFALL!!!!! (and a boat)

The canyon swing is a 6 second freefall into a canyon, (the same height as the statue of liberty) and then the harness kicks in and swings you across the canyon. I stood on the edge looking over and the guy started counting down from 3. When he got to 2 I jumped off as I'd managed to pump myself up enough to step and didn't want to wait too long. When I actually fell I loved it! On the way down first I was facing down into the canyon then somehow turned and saw a load of jagged rocks that appeared to be (but probably weren't) right next to my face. It felt like I was going to hit them, scary as shit but seriously cool.

That night we went out with a couple people Pavey and Jake knew from the USA and some other people we had met along the way. I was still pumped from my jump and so got excitedly very drunk in a few bars and a club. Queenstown is by far the best night out in New Zealand. The next day me, Luke and Jake pottered about hungover whilst Greg and Pavey went off to do their Queenstown freefall, the Nevis Bungy. This is a bungy for pussies and anyone over the age of 2 can do it cos its so easy. (Actually its the biggest bungy in the world and both of their jumps looked pretty impressive on the DVDs, but whatever). That night to celebrate the guys jumps (and I was still happy about mine previously) we went out again with the same people. That night Pavey ate 2 burgers at FERGBURGER (Queenstowns famous burger place that has HUGE burgers).

The next morning we saw some Irish girls leave that we had met, they, for some reason, cheered everything!? So Pavey stood on the balcony in his pants, shouted "I ate 2 FERGBURGERS last night", stuck his arms in the air and sadly, they cheered. I write this because Pavey asked me to, clearly quite proud of it.

I thought I had no real plans for this day but as it turned out I had drunkenly persuaded a girl called Catie (yes it is spelt wrong?!) to do the canyon swing and promised to come and video it. So that is what I ended up doing. It was similar to when I did it except this time I didn't do it. And fair play to her, she did the jump attached to a garden chair backwards and it looked shit scary, inhanced by the fact that she came up looking shit scared. Later I bought the biggest burger I have ever seen or even heard myths about, lost a pub quiz and then went to bed.

Today so far we have woken up. Who knows whats next?! (Luke. Probably.)

Well, it doesn't matter if noone is reading anymore because i imagine you will need this to remember what you did. Seeing as you are always pissed.
