A fantastic breakfast by Patty and a lovely goodbye kiss and we were back on the road - no Martin you cannot borrow our bikes for a little spin!

Back on the road a near miss between Conrad and Andrew at arail crossing got our road attention alerted. We saw the Pacific for the first time at 12.00 noon. A beautiful sight and beautiful lady greeted us as we put our boots into the sea.

Next up on stage - Andy from Wales!

We went to a place called Sand Lake that had sand racing buggy vehicles going all over  the place - looked like good fun . Road bikes on sand .. didn't like it! The weather became foggy as the sea mist reduced visilbility for the first time on the trip.

Slasher took us for a drive-in coffee on the bikes - not a good idea whilst on the bikes! We had aftertoon tea in an internet cafe witha bunch of nerds and quickly got on the road to find our evening destination at Newport.

The gas attendant told us the best bar in town and we booked into a motel next to Moby Dicks. We parked next to two Harleys - one of which had a dog trailer. Th e wife told Warrior that she personally travelled 50 miles in the "mobile kennel" before allowing her dog to go 5000 miles in it!

That evening we entered Moby Dicks with some trepidation - all locals and Kareokee night to follow. Gary McCormack the manager of the local Comfort Inn (62 yrs) showed us the local singing standard - very good. This did not stop the Desparados getting up to do "Lovin Feeling" after several drinks - we were the only act not to be applauded that night!

A sexy girl made rude gestures to Hawk who did not understand them but declined anyway - Slasher spends second night of the Tour on a motel floor - fully dressed after comming home on his own!

Hawk invented new remedy to bedroom snoring - ear plugs now being used at night but not in the day - Slasher invented new remendy also - drinking 12 pints of the local brew! Warrior had no remendy - he just kept on snoring despite being asked to wear his helmet in bed!
