Ahhh teaching time…

Actually teaching wasn’t as bad as the children weren’t as boisterous as I thought they’d be! Unfortunately Katy has a migraine so has been in bed trying to rest, but hopefully she’ll get better after being able to take tablets from the doctors today. Rachel, Pam and I taught 5 classes in turn at different levels on the human body, which they had fun doing especially when doing ‘Heads, Shoulders, Knees and Toes’! In the morning I was helping the cook prepare lunch for all the 80+ children, the teachers and us, as well as learning Singhalese and teaching her English! Slowly but surely we’ll get there together learning from each other!

We’re still hoping and praying that Katy may recover and get back to her normal lively self but shall wait and see.
