We decided to travel to the Pinnacles National Monument for the afternoon. It was a long drive, and extremely hot outside. We set off on the trail, but I became overheated quickly and walked back to the ranger station. My boyfriend made it to the overlook, but he was nervous about hiking alone and quit the trail as well. This is a beautiful park, and if the weather had been cooler I probably would have hikes here all afternoon.
We had dinner at Chevy's Mexican restaurant.We split some fajitas and dessert and went back to the hotel.
