We went to stay at a hostel called Niko's Adventure II as we read on the internet they can organise tours to the Torres del Paine National Park. The hostel was nice enough and had a cute poodle who's bark was worse than his bite!
Puerto Natales is not the kind of town to hang around in its literally the base from which to do a trip to the National Park. So without further ado we organised our tour for the following day.
We wanted to do the famous W trek which takes 4 days but its necessary to either pay a fortune for accommodation around the park or camp and camping isn't an option in winter! Also many of the trails are closed. So we went for the easy option and got picked up in a people carrier which took us around the park stopping for photo opportunities and small walks.

Luckily the weather wasn't bad enough to stop us seeing the main sights such as mountain peaks named Torres del Paine (blue towers) and Los Cuernos (the horns) as well as waterfalls and icebergs.
It was a really good trip and good value although we'd recommend people visit in summer so that you can get the full experience of the trek and camping around the park.
