We drove from Nashville and stopped in Lynchburg. We went into town first and met some tourists that were from CA who moved to CO who moved to MS - they were really nice people. We walked around town and visited the Tennessee Walking Horse Museum. We then went to the Jack Daniel's Distillery. It was a very unique tour given by very authentic southern folk - our tour guide was named Sammy. The tour is at the original distillery and the county where it is located is actually a dry county, so there are no shots of Jack at the end. All in all, we met some really nice people while touring, but the tour was quite slow moving. We did get a basic idea of how whiskey is made and learned a bit about the history of Jack Daniel's but the exact process is still mystery....
