After leaving Chiang Mai we returned to Bangkok for three nights. Sat 30 June we flew to London. After clearing customs we made our way underground for the first time to fine the train to get us to Paddington station. Once the train surfaced it was immediate how old this country is and in true english style it was raining.
We were met at Paddington by Mayumi and had our first ride in a London cab. We have been really spoiled staying where we are. Mayumi has an apartment on the 13 floor of a tower block beside Regents Park. The View from the Kitchen window is of BT Tower and the London Eye. Being so central has been great for getting around as you can walk everywhere although it has been great fun using the underground.

So much to see and so much to do. We already love this place and are going to have a great time.
