Hey everyone, I just wanted to write a really short and quick blog.  I haven't gone out for the past weekend and I probably won't do anything this weekend either.  I had planned on going to Chamonix but I couldn't find a place to stay this late.  It's tough because I can't get weather forecasts far enough in advance to decide to go or not.  I decided to just book my hostel now for the weekend of July 7-8.  I'll leave Nancy on Friday morning to get to Lyon.  I'll stay there for one day and then head out to Chamonix in the morning.  I'll return to Nancy on Monday afternoon.

I'm going to be in Interlaken, Switzerland from July 21-24.  I have posted two pictures of the hikes that I plan to do in each place.  I hope the weather permits.

Recently I have not been up to much.  My research has hit a slow point again because I cannot perform experiments!  The apparatus that I would normally use has a leak and I can't fix it.  Two other machines do similar but different experiments that are slightly relevant.  One of them requires a large amount of polymer (which I don't have) and the other is not hooked up and won't be for another 2 weeks!  So....now I just plan my traveling.  Wish me luck!
