after arriving from chile our objective here was to spend a week learning the basics of spanish. after paying for group lessons toby and i were again put in a class of our own. (thank god we didnt pay for private lessons) after frantically finishing the two week course in 4 days we came out of it knowing what we should know however not exactly knowing anything. however we have come to some sort of arrangement between us. toby will listen and i will speak.

we also through the school did some volentere work for some under priveldged kids in the back streets of bariloche. apparently there english was a lot better than our spanish. oh well all in all look good on the CV.

one afternoon at the bank (it opens at 4pm) and we had run out of money and were sifting round the bank go figure some kiwi farmers working in chile were also waiting at the bank to get some argnentinian pesos. 4 of them 2 of us on a saturday afternoon what shall we do?... we will go the pub for a few quite drinks. 7 hours later and 200 pesos later toby was lumbering towards the hostel. it seams he cant out drink lincoln farmers..who would have guessed. the next morning toby explained that the two pubs last night were pretty good. I had to remind him it was four. anyway one of the guys flated with suz (tobys cousin) and knew danny also (crazy swiss).
