It was like a bad soap opera. Arms flapping, screaming "We need you Rescue Diver, I have lost my buddy..." Nick takes charge, using his training, and dons his gear..Rescue Diver to save the day.  He fines the buddy and brings him back to the boat, half drowns trying to put him on the boat and then has to give CPR...oh, hey...but buddy died so Nick had to do it at least two more times. He must have gotten the kiss down right because he passed with flying colors--apparently one of the best.  We have pictures.. Christa, with the help of the Dive Master, got enough of her mask off her face to qualify.  They are both now certified!  And Nick is a Recuse Diver!  Any one need rescusing?

It really was a nice dive experience.  The diving had a lot of fish and critters.  We saw sea turtle, squid, octopus, those clams that open their mouths, lots of Nemo fish and one big Barracuda.  A water funnel in the distance.  They had a bar and food on the boat.  Make a mean Matai with Jack. Daniels  And a milkshake with voka and schnapps. The kids almost ate all of the Mashed Potatoes--they were so excited to see something from home.  A comfort food.  There was some Europeans who were diving crazy (40 dives in 4 weeks).  A diver who had just climbed Mount Everest and did a recuse of people there.  A brit who never wants to go back to the cold.  Good people.   They had Thai boys on the boat that would help you put on your stuff and take it off.  It was first class.

We dove Phi Phi Islands.  Look them up.  They are probably prettier from the boat.  Amazing.  Just out in the middle of no where.  They said they were prettier until Hollywood came and had to take down some palm trees--because they didn't look right.  That's Hollywood.

Driving back to the dock at Sunset.  Lauren is still sunbathing, "Since the sun is reflecting off the Moon, can't I still set a tan...."  No wonder one of the divers gave her his number to go "clubbing"....(Don't worry Grandma-she wasn't allowed to go!)
