Ushuaia (ous-wire)

This place is not as cold as we first though. strange thoughts were going through our head when the captian on the plane said that it was minus 10 degrees.... we later realised it was only 10 degrees. beutiful city that kinda reminds us of queenstown (at least in the winter), it took us two days to realise that we were on a different time (day light savings doenst occur here). which came in handy before making any tours.

The second day we were here we walked up to Martial Glacier. it took us three and a half hours to reach the glacier from the township with stunning views over beagle channel.

The third day we thought that we should splash out and go sailing on the beagle channel. so we set out to see some sealions and some king crabs. Then we did a tour about this desolate island and told us we had 1.5hrs to explour, after 5mins us and the irishman found ourselves back at the hut with beer in hand. Then had a bbq with the king crabs) really enjoyed the company of the two crew and the 3 other passengers. an irishman a pom and an american. the best thing about the trip was all you can drink and eat...lets just say we got our money worth.
