Small Town New Zealand

After a hard day's driving we arrive in what is possibly the most boring town in New Zealand.   Well, that's probably not fair because it was absolutely bucketing down with rain.   AJ and Martin headed into town to have a look round, but I am afraid that I judged on first sight -- the lucky thing is that the report that the guys brought back was what I had suspected.

I'm sure that New Plymouth is an absolutely wonderful place to live, but it's not much shakes as a place to visit.

When are we leaving?

Our campsite was right up against the cliffs by the sea, which you would think would be very nice, but our view was spoiled somewhat by the port and power station which some idiot had decided should be built right in this scenic place.
