Sentosa Island...fun and giggles

Well i arrived off the train about 10pm...wandered around with a couple and their friend (Kristie, Jason and Mark) and finally found somewhere to stay!! It was 11.30 before we got out to get food, i was so starving-i hadnt eaten since 2pm!! Stayed up until 5am laughing and drinking, just letting our hair down really..

Next day...up at 11am, the sun (oh dear) was streaming in, and so up we got to go to Sentosa Island, they have a big aquarium, beaches etc..so off we went! Caught the cable car to the island, lovely views, and we were very excited as you can tell from the photos.. We got there and went straight to the aquarium, not before we got excited all over again by the proximity to the turtles. Saw lots of fish, and a sea cow (my personal favourite...but it really looks nothing like a cow), and i got to touch a shark-only a small one, but it was really cool.  Felt really strange, rough and bumpy, not like i expected it to feel) Went and had icecream and wandered on the beach for a bit, before  seeing the dolphin show.  The dolphins were irwaddy dolphins, which means they turn pink as they get older, very cool indeed!  They did lots of jumps, and waved and lots of tricks, was nice to see, made me think i cant wait to swim with them in the wild though, they seem so friendly and inquisitive!

After the tiring day (especially after the late night), we went back to the hostel and changed before heading out for a curry in little india.  From there we went to Orchard Road where we saw lots of lady boys (i thought they were only in Thailand) before heading back to pack quickly for my flight in the morning... It's a shame it had to be so rushed, but Singapore was great and i had a lovely time...so onto Sydney!!
