So day two...

We got up in the morning, a little later then the day before, but oh well. I waited for what seemed like forever for the showers to be open and then took a quick shower and dried my hair. We had to pack up all our stuff becuase it was our last day in London :-( We got down to breakfast just in time. I was able to grab some cereal and juice.

Then we had a little mishap as Josie realized that she didn't have her drivers license anymore. She tried looking in the room and through her stuff but still couldn't find it anywhere. While we were standing in the hallway I was trying to pay Ramsey and Margeaux back and then there was confusion about that. There was a free walking tour of London that we were trying to get to that leaves at 11am.

As you might have been able to guess based on our morning we didn't make it. Everyone was dragging a little, a little tired from going out the night before. We went to the Monument where they said they would meet, but we were about 10 minutes too late and they were gone already. So we stood around trying to figure out what we wanted to do instead of the tour. Breakfast wasn't quite satisfying enough so we went to a little supermarket and bought some snacks and water for the day. Then we decided to head over the Tower of London. We only had one small map that Kyle had brought. I had thought we would be on the tour all day so left mine in my bag back at the hostel. We got a little lost trying to find our way. I ended up getting pretty frustrated becuase some people weren't going as fast as others and not really caring where we were going. Finally I just took the map and figured out where we were and started walking. If they wanted to follow fine, if not fine.

Eventually we got to the Tower of London and just kinda stood outside. All the entrance prices to places add up and we didn't feel like forking over US$15 to go inside. I had been there before. Then we walked along the Thames towards the Tower Bridge. It was cool to walk over the Tower Bridge. Ramsey and I each paid 1.50 to go into this little museum to see how the engines work to open the bridge. It was interesting I thought. He understood what everything meant and I got the general grasp.  While we were in there Kyle and Margeaux had walked ahead and Josie had found a cafe to sit in. When we came out Josie and Ramsey went off to find the toilets and I told Kyle and Margeaux to go do there own thing for the day. Margeaux hadn't been to London before and wanted to see everything while the rest of us just wanted to take it slow and walk around slowly. When Josie came back, twenty minutes later, I don't think she understood why I told them to go. I thought it was a better idea.
