Ko Lanta: Probably one of the most chilled places on earth

Ko Lanta is probably one of the most chilled places on earth! There is nothing to do all day but sunbathe, swim in your hammock, and go snorkeling. Apart from the stingers the water was perfect, warm and clear with loads of little rock pools, loads of fish and even a sea snake. That we swam away from pretty quickly.

In the evening we went to this great Thai restaurant on the beach called 'Same Same but Different' with a Swedish couple Joel and AnnaClara. We met them on the bus on the way to the hotel and ended up hanging out with them for the rest of our time on the Island. They had exactly the same sense of humour and so winding each other up and generally taking the p*ss kept us all entertained.

On the second night we invited an English couple Louise and John to join us for dinner and by the end of the night we were in the beach bar playing poker until the early hours!

Everything about Ko Lanta was easy and lovely.
