We have had the most amazing few months in Fernie, and it was a real wrench to say goodbye to everyone. Snow continued for the last weekend and the final race of the season, the Powder, Paddle, Pedal relay was excellent fun to watch.
Left Fernie bound for Seattle, to catch up with Rob's friend Tom. Crossed into the border at Cranbrook - the border guard was quite interested although a little confused with our adventure plans! Stopped over in Spokane on the way, and arrived in Seattle Tues in time for an epic 3 hours at the huge REI adventure shop (R in kit heaven!) and dinner at a great waterside restaurant with Tom.
