Visiting Nik

I've just been dying to meet Liesl's brother Nik, who is going to school in Iowa City.  He's pre-med right now, and he's soooo hunky.  So we took one day out when Liesl didn't have to work and drove down/over to Iowa City to meet him.  We somehow managed to squeeze him into my car, and we drove down to the mall to check things out before we went to dinner.  The mall is on the small side of huge, and the first thing you see when you come in the door is a decent sized ice skating rink across from the little arcade.  I wanna know why you would build a skating rink somewhere that gets snow and ice more often warm weather.  But it was a really nice mall.  Then we went over to Old Chicago to have dinner with Nik and his girlfriend before they had to leave and we made our way back to the house.  It was a nice place and I have several pictures from that day, but unfortunately, they are all on my phone and I can't transfer them cause I don't have the cord.  *Sigh*  But it was a nice visit (except for the road construction, which I swear was worse than Raleigh)
