A baseball road trip cannot be complete without a pilgrimage to Cooperstown, New York, the “birthplace” of baseball. We visited the Hall of Fame museum like it was our job: we spent an entire 9-5 day plus two hours the previous afternoon. The town itself is cute and tempted us into lots of shopping at its baseball-themed stores, but it was the first shopping we’ve done the entire trip, so that’s not too bad. And finally we got cool weather! Jeans emerged from the depths of our bags and we bundled up sung in our sleeping bags at night…it was heavenly.
