After our short flight from Glasgow, we arrived at London Stansted where we picked up our rental car. It was about an hour drive into the city, where our hotel was. This was also where we met up with Brent, Jen, and a couple of their friends. They were stopping in London for the night before they made their way to Greece.

We walked from our hotel to see Buckingham Palace. I know I have said this before, but, pictures do not have the same effect as seeing with your eyes. The building towered above our heads, with gates so tall, you couldn't even imagine trying to climb them. Gold everywhere imaginable. Very posh!

We didn't have much time before the show so we made our way back to the hotel to grab a quick bite to eat and to get into our formal wear. Its always fun getting dressed up, even if it is the most uncomfortable thing I can think of. We then grabbed a taxi and made our way to the Queens Theatre, where we were going to see Les Miserables. The traffic in this city was absolutely atrocious. I would honestly have to say that because of the traffic I would not go back to London.

The show was amazing, and the theatre itself was a site to see on its own. A very wonderful night, all wrapped up with a great meal at a small Greek Restaurant which was conveniently across the street from the hotel. Amazing food, and not too expensive either. It was owner operated so he was very chatty, making sure we had a good time. And that we did.

Back to the hotel and off to bed, after a wonderful day and night in London.
