Well, it's back to an English keyboard and much easier to communicate; any spelling or typo errors are mine and canniot be blamed on the keyboard.
A developed country, from what I have seen. Apartment is studio but has outdoor veranda and breakfasted there without flies.
Warmth and sun
The country's official language is English but the people sem to speak mainly a creole version of French.
I am looking forward to some time in one place and as of this moment do not have definite plans of what to see or do. The tourist office opens in 25 minutes. Then, my ideas may change. I do hope they have information in English. All I have seen so far is in French.
To all who have written to me in the past three weeks, I do appreciate hearing from you and will try to answer at some time. Please accept this as a blanket response.
The goods - free internet for thirty minutes, English keyboard, no flies. I also found an internet cafe with better service and am using that to update this blog.The bads, little information in English.
A poor country based on sugar cane. Trying to be a singapore and succeeding in some ways. more to follow from Tasmania on this.
They want tourists who spend money and not those who try to use local transportation.

At some point, I will tell you more about Madagascar but not now.
