Ripping Up the T-Dot

My first few nights in Toronto have been a great time thus far. The first night Curt picked me up in the Airport and we didn't actually get to his place until around midnight. I met his roommates who were quite nice, and then we had a few cocktails to catch up. Then it was most definatley bedtime, especially since I was up until 5:30am the night before I left trying to finish the 5th season of 24! (I still have a disc left dammit!)
The next day Curtis was supposed to have class, but he wasn't feeling too well. But he sucked it up and came with me and Meags (who drove us all day!) to Niagra Falls. It was a blast actually, and I acted like a stereotypical tourist, taking pics every two seconds. I've put the best ones on here for you all to see. We walked around for a bit, bought a flag for my backpack which I still have to attach, then had supper at the rainforest cafe, which was lovely! You could tell our waitress was hating her life as she approached our table only to say, "hello, I'll be your safari tour guide today. I'll be right with you, I just have to head into the other hut for a second." Apparently it's aimed at people ever so slightly younger than ourselves! Either way, we got a kick out of it! After that we headed to Meags house and then back to Curtis' where we looked at all of Meags pics from her and Jen's trip. It was awesome to see pics of all the places that I'm going to be soon! I'm getting really excited actually, as it's finally sinking in that I'm going to be on a vacation for 3 months, on the other side of the world! (breath mom and dad!)
