Great caravan park at West Beach at Glenelg

We stayed in a modern van park at West Beach. Other than bike rides (including M’s biggest ever at 6km) to Glenelg and a visit to Glenelg’s Beach House (water park) we really didn’t explore Adelaide. We came to see Womad and had pre-purchased a 3 day festival pass before leaving Sydney.
Friends from Sydney, H & M, flew in. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the music and intend to go again. Children were catered for and M liked the Amazing Drumming Monkeys. M’s favourite performer was Lilla Downs from Mexico. A liked Mariza from Portual, Yasmin Levy from Isreal and South Africa’s Mahotella Queens.

H was very helping in bringing warmer bedding for us and taking a few unneeded things home.
